How it started:
When I was a young girl, my sister and I thought it would be fun to have a pretend séance. We sat together and lit a couple of candles. We began fake chanting… just making noises really. When we were finished “chanting” we began hearing the doorknob to the back door of our home shake violently as if someone was trying to enter. Young and fearless I slowly walked toward the door all the while the doorknob was still turning. I looked out the window of the door but saw no one there. I then opened the door and stepped outside looking for the person responsible for the shaking of the doorknob. I found no one! For several years, I experienced unusual happenings such as personal belongings disappearing, voices saying my name, and feeling as if someone was standing over me while I lay in bed at night.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium
In 2007, I went to the infamous Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY. I was with a team of investigators who paid for an 8-hour private investigative tour. Each of us had personal experiences throughout the night. Personally, I heard my name whispered in my ear twice. While I was walking alone on the second floor, I shined my flashlight from room to room as I had been doing all night. I looked to the left, then to the right, and then… I shined the light to the left again and standing in the doorway was a male apparition staring at me. His hair was dark; he wore a white shirt and light-colored pants. I could see the outline of his fingers grasping the door frame as he peered at me. His eyes and mouth were darker than night. Needless to say, I was frightened and quickly called out to another team member, but the apparition disappeared as soon as it appeared.

Main Street Cemetery, Jonesborough, TN
I was on my first tour with Robb and Kathy. We were doing an investigative tour at a local cemetery. We were situated at one particular headstone doing an EVP session for about an hour. The other participants and I were changing positions throughout our time at this particular spot. I took two steps forward and felt what I thought was a cobweb brush across my forehead and arms. We were in the middle of the cemetery, in an open area where no cobwebs could attach to anything. I realized what I was experiencing was the cobweb effect. The cobweb effect can be described best as energy residue of an entity; it is also referred to as ectoplasm.

Private Home Investigation, 2015
During a home investigation, I was sitting in a bedroom by myself conducting an EVP session. The family claimed to see a dark shadow in this room on different occasions. I said, “If anyone is in this room, grab my arm.” I felt what I can only describe as energy on my right forearm. I liken it to someone taking their hand and getting really close to your arm without actually making contact. You can feel the energy raise the hairs on your arm. That is what I experienced. I immediately asked for verification saying, “If you just touched my arm, can you do it again”? At that time, I felt the exact same thing on my right forearm. I believe an intelligent spirit was responding to my requests.
